4th Grade Blind Contour Leaves
Blind Contour Drawing--Using one continuous line, we draw the outline, or contour line, of a deciduous leaf of our choice from various trees of Illinois. While drawing, the artist may only look at the leaf, and is not allowed to look at his or her paper at all. While the leaves may look a bit unusual, this is a great exercise used by artists to improve observational skills, as well as hand eye coordination.

Miss Requarth has been trying QR codes to make finding information about your student's artwork easier! You may start to find QR codes on the back of your student's art projects. Using a QR code reader (many free apps for Apple and Android exist) you can use your smart phone to navigate directly to a specific project page.
